This is the church of Bom Jesus de Matosinhos in the city of Congonohas, M.G. Statues of the ten prophets can be seen before the church, a couple against the sky line. These are the crowning works of Aleijandinho, a slave who developed leprosy , but continued with sculpting instruments strapped to his arms. In the right foreground are Amando, Lotus and Suely.
